Speech Meet: Practice, Practice, Practice!!
Your child has come home with a piece chosen for the Speech Meet Program. Pieces are chosen from three categories; poetry, fables, bible verse. Your child will be responsible for memorizing his/her piece and participating in an in-class meet in front of their classmates and two judges. The in-class meet will be during the week of March 7-11. Two students from each class within each category will be chosen to participate in the all-school speech meet, during the following week of March. Please see me if you have any questions regarding Speech Meet, thank you!
