Welcome Back!

Hi Families! Welcome back, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break, well spent with friends and family! We have some changes as we look forward to the second part of our year in second grade.

The biggest change is that our classroom will now become Mitchellville. I will be sending home with each student on Monday an explanation of the City Laws and City jobs. Each student will have one week to apply for a job, take some time to read through the job descriptions with your child to see which job would best suit their talents! If you have any questions concerning Mitchellville please don't hesitate to ask.

A second change that will be taking place is that each week's spelling test will now have 15 words instead of 10. Homework will still contain only 10, the other five come from a phonics activity that we do each day in class called," On the Back."

The following class supplies need to be replenished:
baby wipes
Kleenex
glue sticks
crayons
pencils
pencil top erasers
snacks (gluten, nut, milk-free)
If you feel led to help, please drop these items off in our classroom at any time, thank you!

The following are our spelling words and homework for the week:
labor, rejoice, succeed, attach, gasp, four, brown, loud, house, cow
