Speech Meet: Week of March 27-31
You should have received an email with the up-coming Speech meet information. We are having students select their own pieces this year but each piece must be approved by their teacher. The email included several selections that were appropriate for Second grade. Students can choose a piece from 1 of 3 categories; Bible Verse, Poetry, Fable/Short Story. Students will recite their selections in class during the week of March 27-31. And 1 student from each category will be chosen to participate in the All School Speech Meet, April 4th. Please have your child bring a copy of his/her selection to be approved by the end of this week. I will be sending home pre-selected pieces with children this week if I have not heard from them about a piece they have chosen. Please let me know if you have questions regarding Speech Meet.
