It's our second week of school and we have a lot of fun things to learn and explore this week! Below are a few reminders to put on your calendar and our homework for the week:
Back to School Night
BTSN is held in our classrooms and is a parent-only event. We are offering two identical sessions from 6:30-7:00 p.m. and 7:15-7:45 p.m. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and gain knowledge on what to expect for the school year!

Labor Day: NO SCHOOL
We will have NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 5th on observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend, see you Tuesday!
First Field Trip: Wednesday, September 14
Our first field trip will be Wednesday, September 14! We will be traveling to Mt.Hermon Camp and Conference Center to complete a challenge course as a class! Each class will be taking adult drivers/chaperones on a first-come-first-serve basis, look for more information to follow soon!
The following are our spelling words and homework for the week:

Please have you child practice these words through-out the week, there will be a test on Friday!
Monday: Spelling- 3x each/ABC order, Math- 1.1, Reading-15 minutes
Tuesday: Writing Prompt, Math- 1.2, Reading-15 minutes
Wednesday: Leveled reading book with comprehension questions, Math- 1.3, Reading- 15minutes
Thursday: Fluency Page, Math- 1.4, Reading- 15 minutes
