It's our 36th week of school!  We have a busy week continuing to work on map skills in Social Studies and  our unit on Fairytales and Folktales! Enjoy the long Memorial Day weekend!

Half-Day: Friday, May 26th
Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Cross-walk will be available until 6:00 p.m.

NO SCHOOL: Monday, May 29th
In observance of Memorial Day there will be no school, enjoy the long weekend!

May 15- May 19

It's our 35th week of school!  We have a busy week continuing to work on map skills in Social Studies and  our unit on Fairytales and Folktales! Ask you child which "fractured fairytale" they are practicing for their reader's theater! We will dive in specifically with the Gingerbread Man this week, I hope ours that we bake doesn't jump out of the oven!

Spring Carnival: Friday, May 19th
Join us for this fun, annual event! There will be games, prizes, food, sweets and rides! Tickets and wristbands can be purchased in advance in the office, hope to see you there!

It's our 34th week of school!  We have a busy week preparing for Mother's Day, a field trip and continuing to work on map skills in Social Studies and starting our unit on Fairytales and Folktales!

Flat Stanley Project

If you were not able to mail your Flat Person during Spring Break there's still time! Get it in the mail so that we can see where all of our Flat students have traveled! Thank so much for participating at home!

Field Trip: Friday, May 12th
Both second grade classes will be headed to the Children's Museum of San Jose. Have your child please bring their own lunch and a booster seat if they need one. We will leave campus at

8:45 a.m.and return around 2:00 p.m.
This will be our last field trip of the year, looking forward to it!
