Hello Families and Friends! I hope you had a great weekend, it's hard to believe that we're already nearing the end of January. Here are a few things on our agenda this week:
Character Trait Chapel: Monday, January 27

One-Hundredth Day of School: Tuesday, February 4
We've been counting up to the one hundredth day of school and we're almost there! We will celebrate through out the day with fun special activities!
Vacation to Mars!
The
second grade classes are studying about the Solar System during the
month of January and will also be practicing a short musical titled
"Vacation to Mars," that they will perform in February. All the
practices for the songs and script parts will take place in class.
Please mark your calendar for our performance on Wednesday, February,
12th at 2:00 p.m.
The following are our spelling words and homework for the week:
down, owl, now, cow, round, sound, ground, around, shout, pound
Monday: Spelling- 3x each, Math-6.4, Reading- 15 minutes
Tuesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math-6.5, Reading- 15 minutes
Wednesday: Spelling- 10 sentences, Math-6.6, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math-6.7, Reading- 15 minutes
