Welcome Back!

Welcome to Second Grade
Welcome back to school! I hope the summer was fun, relaxing and time well-spent with friends and family! We have an exciting year planned in Second Grade, the blog is a place to check-in periodically for updates and important class information. Our classroom blog will be updated before the start of each week and will include weekly spelling words, dates to mark on your calendar, and any announcements about upcoming events. I am looking forward to a successful year in Second Grade with your students and getting to know them and their strengths individually!

Meet and Greet/ Ice Cream Social: Tuesday, August 21
Classrooms will be open from 1:00-2:30 p.m. for students and their families to get a sneak-peek of the year to come. If you have purchased your school supplies, it would be helpful if you'd bring them to the "Meet and Greet" so they can be placed in a communal bin before the start of school. The Ice Cream Social will follow from 2:30-3:00 p.m. out on the front lawn.
Hope to see you there!

First Day of School Assembly: Wednesday, August 22
Please join us as we kick-off the start of the 2018-2019 school year. Students will line up near the playground at 8:30 a.m. We will walk together to the Main Auditorium for the assembly before returning to collect our backpacks and begin the day!
