It's our 21st week of school!. We will be studying the solar system in science for the remainder of this month and into February. Ask your child about the phases of the moon this week! In Social Studies we will be concentrating on map skills and economics! Mitchellville is running smoothly!

Very Important Person Project

Your child will be coming home today with the specifics of this project including a grading rubric. The final project will be due Tuesday, February 21.  All projects will be on display at our Open House night! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the project!

Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Cross-Walk will be available until 6:00 p.m.

Please find a few jobs that would fit the talents of your child and have them be prepared to fill out the job application. Your child will have this week to fill out an application(s) and receive a job. Payday and rent day begin the following week! Don't forget to re-stock your child's classroom supplies in their pencil pouch (pencils, erasers, glue etc.).
