Hi Parents, Families and Friends! We have another great week planned for the last week of February! Hope to see you all this Thursday night for Open House! Have a great week!

VIP Project Due: Monday, Feb. 24

Each child has chosen a very important person to complete a diorama and trading card on. Both pieces of the project are due on the 24th of February. Looking forward to seeing all the final projects, students' work will be on display during Open House!

HALF-DAY: Thursday, Feb. 27

Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m., Crosswalk is available until 6:00 p.m.

Open House and Art Show: Thursday, February, 27

Come and see the work your child has done this year! Open House is from 7-8 p.m. Classrooms and Main Auditorium will be open with displays of student work. This is also a great time to check the 3rd grade classes for next year.

In-Class Speech Meet: Tuesday, Mar. 18

Parents are invited to attend our in-class speech meet on Tuesday, March 18th from 10:15 a.m.- 11:00 p.m. This will take place in our classroom, if you need another copy of your child's piece please let me know!

The following are our spelling words and homework for the week:

awful, fawn, yawn, claw, raw, sauce, launch, walk, halt, crawl

Monday: NO SCHOOL

Monday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 7.5, Reading- 15 minutes

Tuesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 7.6, Reading- 15 minutes

Wednesday: Spelling- 10 sentences, Math- 7.7, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- 7.8, Reading- 15 minutes
