Hi Parents, Families and Friends! Thank you to all who were able to attend the performance of "Vacation to Mars" last week. The students' hard-work paid off and we were thankful for your support! Here's a look at what we have coming up in the next few weeks!
NO SCHOOL: Monday, Feb. 17
In observance of President's Day, there will be no school on Monday!
Spirit Day: Friday, Feb. 21
Come dressed as your favorite super hero for our spirit day!
VIP Project Due: Monday, Feb. 24
Each child has chosen a very important person to complete a diorama and trading card on. Both pieces of the project are due on the 24th of February. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions regarding the project!
HALF-DAY: Thursday, Feb. 27
Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m., Crosswalk is available until 6:00 p.m.
Open House and Art Show: Thursday, February, 27
Come and see the work your child has done this year! Open House is from 7-8 p.m. Classrooms and Main Auditorium will be open with displays of student work. This is also a great time to check the 3rd grade classes for next year.

In-Class Speech Meet: Tuesday, Mar. 18
Parents are invited to attend our in-class speech meet on Tuesday, March 18th from 10:15 a.m.- 11:00 p.m. This will take place in our classroom, if you need another copy of your child's piece please let me know!

Monday: NO SCHOOL
Tuesday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 7.2, Reading- 15 minutes
Wednesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 7.3, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- 7.4, Reading- 15 minutes
