Week 19
Welcome back! I hope you had a restful and relaxing break spent with friends and family! We are jumping right back into things, you'll notice that our students will now be studying 15 spelling words each week instead of 10. ALL words will be in their Student Planners. We will also begin practicing for a play that we'll be performing in the spring, "Vacation to Mars."
NO SCHOOL: MONDAY, JANUARY 15
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. day, there will be no school, enjoy the long weekend!
Field Trip: Monday, January 22
Thank you to all of you who have already turned in permission slips and have offered to drive. Please note this date on your calendars, students will need to bring a lunch that day and a booster seat if needed.
Mitchellville
I sent home information over the break about Mitchellville. Look this over with your child and choose 2-3 jobs that would be a good fit for him/her, seeing as they may not receive their first choice. Students will have a full week after we return to apply for a job! I am looking forward to our little city!
Brag Box
I was SO impressed with all of the "Christmas Around the World" projects! What an incredible job each student did on their posters and it was sure fun to taste various treats from around the world. Nice job!
