It's our 34th week of school!  We have a busy week preparing for Mother's Day, a field trip and continuing to work on map skills in Social Studies and starting our unit on Fairytales and Folktales!

Flat Stanley Project

If you were not able to mail your Flat Person during Spring Break there's still time! Get it in the mail so that we can see where all of our Flat students have traveled! Thank so much for participating at home!

Field Trip: Friday, May 12th
Both second grade classes will be headed to the Children's Museum of San Jose. Have your child please bring their own lunch and a booster seat if they need one. We will leave campus at

8:45 a.m.and return around 2:00 p.m.
This will be our last field trip of the year, looking forward to it!

Spring Carnival: Friday, May 19th
Join us for this fun, annual event! There will be games, prizes, food, sweets and rides! Tickets and wristbands can be purchased in advance in the office, hope to see you there!

NO SCHOOL: Monday, May 29th
In observance of Memorial Day there will be no school, enjoy the long weekend!

Monday: Spelling- 10 Sentences, Math- 11.1, Reading- 15 minutes

Tuesday: Spelling- Writing Prompt, Math- 111.2, Reading- 15 minutes

Wednesday: Fluency Page, Math 11.3,  Reading-15 minutes

Thursday: Spelling- ABC Order/ Pre-Test, Math- 11.4, Reading- 15 minutes

Friday: Reading- 15 minutes
