Hi Parents, Families and Friends! Here are a few things we have coming up in the next few weeks, please let me know if you have any questions!
October Book Order Due: Monday, October 13th
If you'd like to order books in the month of October please return the order form to me or place the order online by Monday, October 13th. I will not be sending home a November Scholastic Book Order due to the fact that we will have the Book Fair on campus during that month.
Field Trip: Monday, October 13th
Thank you to all the parents who have submitted the permission slips for their child and have volunteered to drive or chaperone. I will be contacting those willing to participate this next week to finalize details. Please make sure that your child has his/her own lunch on the day of the field trip, wears closed-toed shoes, and comfortable long pants or leggings. Also, if your child is not 8 years old, he/she will need to ride in a booster seat, please make sure your child brings one to school on the day of the trip.
NO SCHOOL: Friday, October 17
No school for students, teachers will be attending an in-service. Enjoy the long weekend!
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Tuesday, November 4-7
A parent/teacher conference form will be going home this week with your student. Please confirm the date and time, let me know if you need to re-schedule. I am really looking forward to meeting with you all and discussing how the first quarter has been for your child. Conference days are half-days, students are dismissed at 12:00 p.m. Cross-Walk will be available until 6:00 p.m. and free only for your designated conference time. Contact me with any questions!

Monday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 2.10, Reading- 15 minutes
Tuesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 2.11, Reading- 15 minutes
Wednesday: Spelling- 10 sentences, Math- 2.12, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- 2.13, Reading- 15 minutes
