Hello Parents, Families, and Friends! 

I hope you were able to enjoy the three-day weekend, I am looking forward to another great week with your students! We are beginning to get into a steady routine that allows our classroom to run smoothly and the students to work cooperatively with one another. Below are a few reminders for the week,  don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

Twin Lakes Parent/Student Handbook Agreement

Just a reminder,  if you haven't already turned in the parent/student handbook agreement page please do so as soon as possible. You should have received a hard copy in the welcome packet from Twin Lakes Christian School, you can pick one up in the office, or print a copy from our school website. Please return this page with your student in their planner or directly to the office, thank you! 

 

Khan Academy

Thank you parents for returning the green permission slips for your children to begin the Khan Academy program. Please be patient as I create an account for each child. You will receive an email and hard copy of each child's user name and log-in information once we are up and running!

 

Scholastic Book Club

If you are interested in purchasing books for your student, parents can place an order online or return the order form with their student in their planner. Book orders for the month of September are due on the 2nd. I will continue to send home monthly book order forms!

Back to School Night

Please join us for Back to School Night on Thursday, September 11th. This will be an informal gathering to learn more about what to expect for the school year. We will have two sessions available: 6:30-7:00 p.m. and 7:15- 7:45 p.m.   Both sessions will cover the same information and will be held in our classroom, room 831.

Monday: NO SCHOOL

Tuesday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 1.5, Reading- 15 minutes

Wednesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 1.6, Reading- 15 minutes

Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- 1.7, Reading- 15 minutes
