Hi Parents, Families, and Friends! We had a great first week with a fantastic second week planned ahead! Here are a few announcements and dates to put on the calendar:
Parent/ Student Agreement
Please make sure that you and your child read through the parent/student handbook. You can pick up a hard copy in the office or access the document on the school website. If you have not already, students and parents need to sign and return the last page of the document to school. Thank you!
K-2 Chapel: Monday, September 9th
All are welcome to join us as we attend our first K-2 chapel of the school year! We will meet in Monschke Hall from 2:25 p.m.- 2:55 p.m.!
Back to School Night: Thursday, September 12th
Parents and families, this is an opportunity for you to learn the expectations and classroom routine that your son or daughter has been learning for the first 2 weeks. The same material will be covered in both presentations, please plan to attend one of the two times: 6:30- 7:00 p.m. or 7:15- 7:45 p.m. I will be available to answer any questions you may have, hope to see you there!

The following are our spelling words and homework for the week:
went, tell, pet, job, fog, not, tug, hut, tub, bun
Monday: NO SCHOOL
Tuesday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 1.5, Reading- 15 minutes
Wednesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 1.6, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- 1.7, Reading- 15 minutes
