Hi Parents and Families! Thank you to all who have provided supplies for our classroom, we greatly appreciate it!!
As we enter the month of October we'll be doing quite a few activities with pumpkins. It would be great if a few parents wouldn't mind bringing in a large pumpkin for use in the classroom. Ideally, it would be nice to have about 5 or 6 large pumpkins so the students can work in small groups to estimate and count seeds, find the circumference around the pumpkin and describe their pumpkin together. We won't be using the pumpkins until the second week of October, thanks!

The following is our homework and spelling words for the week:
figure, concern, main, sail, stay, may, paid, train, pray, age
Monday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 2.2, Reading- 15 minutes
Tuesday: Spelling- 10 sentences, Math- 2.3, Reading- 15 minutes
Wednesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 2.4, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- 2.5, Reading- 15 minutes
