May is a Busy Month!

Hi Parents and Families! May is a busy month as we are coming to a close on the school year! The following are a few dates to mark on your calendar:

Spring Concert: May 11

Please have your students in the auditorium no later than 6:30 p.m., wearing a solid, spring colored top and dark jeans, skirt or pants on the bottom. The concert starts t 7:00 p.m., hope to see you there!

Amgen Bike Tour- NO SCHOOL: May 14

Due to the high traffic and road closures from the Amgen Bike Tour, there will be no school or crosswalk on Monday, May 14.

4th Quarter Character Trait Chapel: May 15

We will honor the following students during our character trait chapel in Monschke Hall at 2:15 p.m.:

Cole, Ellie, Gianna, Leah, Jason, Ava and Jack

Book Fair: May 11-18

Our Spring book fair will be held in the library, come check-out some great reads!

Minimum Day: May 25

NO SCHOOL/ MEMORIAL DAY: May 28

Field Trip- Live Earth Farm: June 1
This will be our last filed trip of the year, information will be sent home with your student this week! 

Spelling words and homework for the week are as follows:
skeleton, lungs, blood, muscle, heart, smell, sight, taste, touch, hear

Monday: Spelling- 3x each, Math- 9.9/math facts, Reading- 15 minutes
Tuesday: Spelling- 10 sentences, Math- 9.10/math facts, Reading- 15 minutes
Wednesday: Spelling- 5 definitions, Math- 9.11/math facts, Reading- 15 minutes
Thursday: Spelling- ABC order, Math- chpt. 9 review/math facts, Reading- 15 minutes
