It's our eighth week of school and
have a lot of fun things to look forward to in the month of October!!!
In Science this month we'll be taking a look at animals (specifically
owls and bats) and their habitats. In Social Studies we'll begin
learning about the election process. We'll also be sampling pumpkin
muffins and making pumpkin ice cream in class this month, yum!
Looking
forward to another GREAT week!
Homework Change
Beginning with Unit 2 of our Language Arts curriculum (this week), we
will be switching homework slightly. Instead of sending home a weekly
comprehension book, students will receive a second spelling page with a
practice spelling test to take at home on the back. Also, we will
include more specific directions for the weekly writing prompt that will
be attached to the homework. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have
any questions!
